Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Simple Google Review Widget, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Who can use this

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract. By signing in you confirm you have the authority to connect the Google Business Profile you use with this service.

3. What the service does

Simple Google Review Widget lets you connect your Google Business Profile, select which of your real public Google reviews to display, and embed a widget on your own website. Reviews are fetched from Google and refreshed automatically. We provide read-only access to your Google Business Profile — we never modify, post, or delete anything on your behalf.

Features may change over time, including additions, modifications, or removals of specific functionality.

4. Your Google Business Profile

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect the Google Business Profile you link to this service. You must not use this service to display reviews belonging to a business you do not own or manage.

5. Google's policies

Your use of this service involves data from Google's APIs. You agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes;
• attempt to circumvent any access controls or security measures;
• use the service to display reviews that are not your own;
• represent a curated selection of reviews as a complete or unfiltered set — do not label your widget “all our reviews” or similar if you are showing a subset;
• interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

7. Free tier

The service is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we'll notify existing users before any change affects their account.

8. Third-party providers

This service depends on Google APIs and hosting infrastructure to operate. Availability of certain features may depend on those providers.

9. Google Business Profile changes

This service accesses your Google Business Profile in read-only mode and does not create, edit, reply to, or delete any content on your Business Profile through its normal operation. You are responsible for safeguarding your Google account credentials and for reviewing the access permissions you grant to any connected application, including this one.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a security risk, or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion by emailing privacy@taidetools.com.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, or goodwill arising from your use of this service.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
